The Survey Technician will assist the Professional Surveyor to execute the documentation of survey projects such as sites, subdivisions, exhibits, plats, etc.

• Uses design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs, plats, easements, and other survey-related items
• Prepares and maintains sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys
• Verifies data and calculations
• Calculates the measurements of sites
• Writes descriptions of property boundaries
• Develops project existing conditions based on the analysis of relevant materials such as drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, survey reports, record drawings, maps, and other topographic data
• Delegates survey cad tasks to other cad technicians under his/her direct supervision
• Collaborates with the internal project team to ensure projects progress properly
• Performs other related duties as assigned
