USU Moab Academic Building

CSG was retained by the DFCM to provide professional services on the new Utah State University, Moab Campus. This new campus is combustion-free, net-zero energy usage. The first building is passively designed to harness solar and geothermal energy. The parking lot is covered in photovoltaic panels that double as shade structures, reducing heat island effect. The campus is designed to percolate stormwater in such a way that nearly matches predevelopment behaviors.
