Upper Smithfield Canyon Hydroelectric Project

CSG was retained to complete preliminary design services and permitting for a small hydroelectric project located in Smithfield Canyon. CSG successfully secured the necessary permits for a non-consumptive water right for the land owner to use water from the nearby creek for hydroelectric energy production. CSG also provided preliminary design calculations and design for the penstock design, intake structure, and generating facility.
