IRRIGATION DESIGNER

CSG’s Landscape Architecture Department is seeking one qualified irrigation designer to join our team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and documentation of existing irrigation systems
• Design of new or modified irrigation systems for small sites or large properties up to 100+ acres
• Plan production & drafting (from conceptual design to final construction documents)
• On occasion, there will be some non-irrigation-related drafting and design work

Requirements:

CSG is looking for a candidate with substantial irrigation design experience. He/she preferably will have 3+ years of irrigation design experience and clear understanding of irrigation system installation. The candidate should have irrigation design certifications (such as CID from the Irrigation Association) or evidence of other training or education in irrigation design.

The candidate should have a good understanding of hydrology and pipe sizing. He/she should also be knowledgeable about available equipment and products. This individual should have a general knowledge of soils and of plant water needs.

CSG is seeking someone self-motivated, resourceful, hardworking, and a good team player who will fit in well into our interdisciplinary collaborative office. The individual shall have good verbal and written communication abilities and basic office skills. It is strongly preferred that the applicant is proficient in AutoCAD and Land F/X. Good skills in other standard office software is helpful. A degree or license in landscape architecture would definitely be welcome but is not required.
