Utah is a breathtakingly beautiful place. At Civil Solutions Group, it’s our commitment and responsibility to help care for our natural landscape through environmental planning. Caring for and respecting our public land is essential to ensure it can be enjoyed for future generations.
With its distinct desert landscape and majestic mountains, there’s much to see and do in Utah. There’s truly something for everyone. Here are some of Utah’s must-see sights.
Arches National Park. Delicate Arch is Utah’s iconic symbol. Just north of Moab, Arches National Park is filled with slick rock, trails, and impressive canyons.
Canyonlands National Park. Also located near Moab, this park has much to see and do—especially The Needles and Island in the Sky.
Zion National Park. Filled with slot canyons and expansive cliffs, Zion offers something for every skill level. From leisurely walking trails to challenging canyoneering and rappelling, Zion offers adventure for beginners, experts, and everyone in between.
Bryce Canyon National Park. Near Zion, this park has many small canyons, hikes, and overlooks.
Mirror Lake. Located east of Park City in the Uinta Mountains, this is an ideal location for hiking, fishing, boating, horseback riding, mountain biking, and a variety of other activities.
Great Salt Lake. This is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere. Antelope Island State Park is the perfect spot to enjoy all the lake has to offer—especially its white sandy beaches.
Dead Horse Point State Park. This is a distinct, recognizable spot where the Colorado River takes a 180-degree turn.
Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. This is a unique series of plateaus that decrease in elevation between Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon.
Bears Ears National Monument. These twin buttes in southeast Utah were prominent in Native American History. The area houses an abundance of tribal artifacts that can be explored in a nearby museum.
Big Cottonwood Canyon. This is where some of Utah’s most renowned ski resorts are located—like Brighton and Solitude. There’s also excellent hiking during warmer months. The scenic drive up the canyon makes it one of the most stunning spots in the Salt Lake City area.
